I am trying to visualize the output file from my ROMS simulation on the Panoply tool which is provided by NASA. When I try to plot u momentum component variable, 'u' on it, I get a blank screen with no output whatsoever on it. When I check the data in it by switching to the array 1 tab, all I find is 0s and NaNs respectively. Nothing else.

But when I check my output file in MATLAB for the 'u' variable I can see that it has values in it and is not empty with only 0s and NaNs as shown by Panoply.

Am I using Panoply in the wrong way or it is possible that we cannot plot ROMS variables using the Panoply tool?
