Generic Length Scale Units

#1 Unread post by thomas.roc »

Hello everyone,

Quick question, does anyone know what are the units of gls in the output files ? m3/s2 as defined in varinfo.dat or the units of the length scale corresponding to the chosen two-equation turbulence model (e.g.: s-1 for k-omega, m2/s3 for k-epsilon, m3/s2 for k-kl,...) ?

Cheers

gls is the 'psi' variable in our 2005 OM paper.
so the units will change depending on your selection of p m n.
