Ocean Modeling Discussion

Hi ROMS Community,
How can I do ideal experiments in ROMS model? For example, if I want to do
an experiment on the response of the ocean to a tropical cyclone, given my
initial temperature and salt conditions and wind fields, do I still need to
set up the grid and boundary conditions?
