thanks Tony and Kate, i found out it is mexnc doesn't match my matlab ,i download a new one and now it runs well,thank you very much

Upwelling test runs fine in my computer, and can be ncdump the output nc files in the terminal, but when i copied the files to Windows XP, use matlab to ncdump the output files, they can't be opened, this is not the case with other nc files, can anyone tell me why? i have ubuntu and windows ...
